Security

CIS is located within the Meralco Center, a large compound secured to house the country's largest electric distribution company as well as several other companies of the Lopez Group. The physical layout of the Computer Services Building which houses CIS is far better than the usual high rise buildings due to multiple layers of physical and technical security measures. They have been implemented to ensure the safety and integrity of our resources.

Availabiltiy of resources

Majority of the country's technological infrastructure is set up in Manila. Fiber-optic lines, DSL cables, leased lines and the rest have been initially laid out in Manila. Moreover, most of the Lopez group of companies owned resources have been situated within the metropolis to assure immediate access. CIS' location in the Meralco Center guarantees its connection to a dual power grid. In the event of a power failure, a secondary grid takes over. This ensures continuous power supply to the Center.
