BUSINESS CONTINUITY AND RECOVERY
In strategic alliance with IBM Global services, we offer the most complete range of zSeries (S/390) Business Continuity and Recovery Services (BCRS) in the Philippines.

With two high-end IBM mainframes, peripheral devices, and network infrastructure earmarked exclusively for BCRS, we have enough processing, storage, and communications resources to accommodate multiple BCRS subscribers simultaneously. Our Data Center is equipped with state-of-the-art precision environment control, inert gas fire suppression, and premises access control systems. Furthermore, these resources can easily be augmented or realigned to support subscriber-specific requirements. 

Our edge is the ready availability of support personnel - systems programmers, operators, hardware and network engineers who are on 24x7 availability to make sure that subscribers' needs are satisfied.

In addition to the IBM zSeries mainframes, we offer BCRS solutions for right-size hardware requirements for Sun-based customers. Our alliance with Sun Microsystems Philippines ensures availability of multi-platform BCRS solutions for our customer's specific needs.

In addition to BCRS facilities subscription, our BCRS line also covers BCRS Consulting (from Planning to Audit) and Rapid Recovery Services. CIS is currently undergoing the Suntone Certification program. The SunTone[sm] Certification and Branding Program, launched in May 1999, is one of the industry's first collaborative efforts to promote 7-by-24 service and reliability as a norm for web-based services and hosted applications. The SunTone program is designed to provide end-user customers the confidence that every aspect of a service provider, independent software vendor and integrator's operations and infrastructure - such as security, scalability, reliability, and predictability - has met the program's high quality standards.

ENTERPRISE DOCUMENT PRODUCTION
CIS simplifies on-schedule preparation of account statements and mailers with our "host-to-post service". Customers merely generate and transmit the data files from their host computer to our high capacity Enterprise Document Production facility -- and CIS takes care of everything else, including prompt delivery to the courier or the post office! Using high-speed IBM and PitneyBowse machines, printing and enveloping are completed on-time and with reliable accuracy.

Our facilities include two high-end IBM Infoprint 4000 Duplex machines which can print 31,200 pages per hour and two enveloping machines. Our software, Elixir, formats input files and designs attractive and personalized documents, incorporating tables, data driven graphics, digitized signatures and barcodes. In addition to conditional processing, variable font types and data placement, which increases appeal and readability, resulting to improved customer communication and relationship.

CIS’ Enterprise Document Production service is also the first to provide pressure sealing -- a faster, "envelope-less" alternative to preparing documents for mailing.
